  23.         You see I would be more than happy to let this issue well
  24. and truly lie, but people keep DIGGING me about it. This is the
  25. 5 posting on the subject today. NOW, allow me to explain for the
  26. 90th time.

  29.         In the UK the price of CMD gear is DOUBLE the price it is
  30. in the USA. Browsing the CMD home page I was amazed at the
  31. quality of all the stuff, and indeed it occured to me that they
  32. were quite a bargain. BUT, in the UK they arn't even affordable. It
  33. would be cheaper for me to order everything from the States and
  34. have it flown over to me, cheaper but still not affordable.

  38.         1. I am NO expert on CMD gear, although as I said I was
  39. quite impressed with the claims made on the WWW.

  41.         2. I tend to buy stuff (CMD Included) second hand, for the
  42. same reasons as above.

  45.         I do indeed have some idea as what it is like to get a
  46. prototype of an idea together and to try and market it. A few
  47. years ago myself and my cousin had an excellent new design for a
  48. DIN plug (The very ones on the Video port of the C64.), expanding
  49. on the idea we went to see how much it would be to put them into
  50. production. The secratary had to roll our tounges back in. Now, if
  51. that's what it costs for a first 5 DIN plugs then CMD must REALLY
  52. spend a lot on something like hard disks or SuperCPUS.
