- You see I would be more than happy to let this issue well
- and truly lie, but people keep DIGGING me about it. This is the
- 5 posting on the subject today. NOW, allow me to explain for the
- 90th time.

- In the UK the price of CMD gear is DOUBLE the price it is
- in the USA. Browsing the CMD home page I was amazed at the
- quality of all the stuff, and indeed it occured to me that they
- were quite a bargain. BUT, in the UK they arn't even affordable. It
- would be cheaper for me to order everything from the States and
- have it flown over to me, cheaper but still not affordable.
-
- And, as I said before:
-
- 1. I am NO expert on CMD gear, although as I said I was
- quite impressed with the claims made on the WWW.
-
- 2. I tend to buy stuff (CMD Included) second hand, for the
- same reasons as above.

- I do indeed have some idea as what it is like to get a
- prototype of an idea together and to try and market it. A few
- years ago myself and my cousin had an excellent new design for a
- DIN plug (The very ones on the Video port of the C64.), expanding
- on the idea we went to see how much it would be to put them into
- production. The secratary had to roll our tounges back in. Now, if
- that's what it costs for a first 5 DIN plugs then CMD must REALLY
- spend a lot on something like hard disks or SuperCPUS.
-
-
- Now, let's let it lie ?
